Hourly Pay Rate: $24-$28 As a member of management team provides oversight and leadership to residential programs. Collaborates with and provides direction and supervision to Direct Care staff to ensure quality direct services are provided. Supports the Mission of Residential Services which is committed to providing a continuum of residential settings, creating a safe and functional living environment for individuals with developmental disabilities. Through collaboration, individuals are empowered to become full and active members of their community and to make decisions affecting (or reflecting) how they choose to live their lives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES •Ensure compliance to applicable Federal/ State/ Local and other governing entities' rules, regulations and law this includes: •Promotes an environment in which individuals' rights are upheld and individuals' thrive. Ensures regulatory and agency compliance requirements are met. •Coordinates individual placements and ensures pre-admission requirements are met for each new individual entering the program. Ensures each individual has an appropriately developed program plan that is reflective of his or her needs. •Responsible for appropriate staffing activities including the selection, supervision, and retention of staff to meet individuals' needs and service requirements. •Utilizes and manages available human resources in an effective manner including recommendations regarding staffing patterns, placements and other assignments to ensure appropriate program coverage and service needs. •Responsible for the training and on-going development of staff to ensure and improve quality of care and services. •Ensures appropriate, effective and timely communication across all program settings. •Assumes leadership role in the development and sustenance of positive interpersonal relationships and liaisons with individuals, families, advocates, employees, the surrounding community/neighborhood •Participates or chairs agency committees, meetings, and training as required. •Attend monthly support team meetings for tracking all minor and behavioral incidents. •Promote and Coordinate positive relationships and communications with individuals, families, advocates and direct care staff. •Responsible for coordinating all aspects of individual's medical care in conjunction with the site RN. •Responsible for fiscal management duties to ensure sound fiscal accountability within the sites and individuals' accounts. Ensure that audits are completed of individual's accounts twice monthly. •Oversight of all ancillary house accounts. •Monitor and maintain facilities appropriately to ensure a safe environment conducive to the health, safety, and well being of individuals and employees. •Ensures efficient, confidential and comprehensive record keeping as mandated for individual and staff related activities/incidents and site maintenance. •Identifies and takes the necessary action to improve quality in all areas of responsibility. •Performs CPR and Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention (SCIP-R). •Is available 24 hours per day for emergencies at sites. •Complies with all agency policies and procedures. •Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS •Associates degree in Human Services or related area and 1 year of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. •Completion of and/or enrollment in agency Management Training. •Valid Driver's License that meets agency policy. •Lifting requirement of 35 lbs. •Physical agility and ability to react to emergency situations, including maintaining Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention (SCIP-R) certification as per regulatory guidelines. •CPR certification. •Medication Certification required. •Ability to meet physical requirements of the position when performing the following: standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling and climbing. •Ability to lift and transfer individuals manually and mechanically as required by prescribed program/plan. •Ability to effectively respond to common inquiries or complaints from individuals, staff, regulatory agencies or members of the community.
