This allows us to take a comprehensive, holistic approach to improving the lives of every person we serve - those who receive and those who reap the benefits of our innovative, responsive solutions.Job Description:Under the general direction of the Division Manager of Residential Services, with specific supervision from the House Manager, is responsible for the provision of support, personal assistance, training, and quality care to people with intellectual disabilities residing in a community group home.Schedule Details:Full-Time, Monday through Friday; Two Evening/Swing Shifts (11:30-8), Three Day Shifts (8:00-4:30)Location:Wyomissing, PAProgram:MHOPPay Range:$60 ,000/YearJob Duties:Demonstrate knowledge of the organization and management of recovery principles, cultural competency principles, and clinical and/or treatment services for behavioral health clientsProvide direct supervision to program staff, individually and group-based, regularlyMaintain 24-hour availability to program staff and management for emergency consultationProvide backup supervisory support to other programs, as neededProvide direct service to clients as neededEnsure all program services are compliant with recovery and cultural competency principlesCollect outcome data and assess the efficacy of program servicesProvide direct supervisor and the corporate office with a preliminary response to client complaints/grievancesConduct continual evaluation of the program and develop strategies to implement performance improvement activities as indicatedConduct regular program staff meetings to meet the administrative needs of the programEnsure that sufficient in-service training is provided to all program staff, consistent with program and individual staff needsMaintain program in full compliance with all applicable licensing standards, contractual requirements, and all agency policiesAssist supervisor in evaluating program effectiveness and developing annual program plansMaintain documentation of program compliance with Performance Improvement indicators, census, and other utilization dataStay knowledgeable of all laws, regulations, contractual requirements, and agency policies and procedures governing the operation of their program and standards and ethical principles of the best practice of the behavioral healthcare relevant to their programMaintain professional relationships with clients, payers, and community support service representatives and agenciesParticipate in interagency meetings and represent the agency in an effective and professional mannerDevelop formal proposals to meet developing and ongoing program needsEnsure program operating costs are within budget and monitor program spending and unnecessary costsMaintain effective and efficient communication with direct supervisor and administrative staff, as requiredBecome familiar with staff performance evaluation processes and document staff compliance with requisite performance standardsMaintain compliance with all required training requirementsComplete all required training as per Professional Development PlanReport all incidents through the incident management system in a timely and effective mannerBe willing to assist with the development of the expansion of services or with the development of new servicesMonitor all inventory of program equipment, furnishings, and other property, reporting any need for replacement or repair in a timely mannerObtain and submit all billing forms and all necessary clinical documentation from all staff on the established scheduleVerify the accuracy of all payroll and billing documentation prior to submissionInterface with the Accounting Department as needed to resolve billing problems that require program interventionBecome knowledgeable and provide staff and clients with information regarding access to community resources, facilitating access as necessary or needed.Minimum Requirements: Education:Master's Degree in a clinical behavioral health disciplineExperience: Three years post-degreed experience in the behavioral health field, with one year of increasing supervisory responsibility.Licensure/Certifications:Licensure/Certification Preferred (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, BCBA)Required Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion listNote: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and ExperienceWhat's in it for you?
