We are seeking to hire a VP, Cards Pricing Strategy & Analytics to be part of the USPB Cards Pricing and Statement Operations team.TheVP, Cards Pricing Strategy & Analyticsposition will report directly to the Head of Pricing Strategy and Optimization for USPB Cards (Branded Cards and Citi Retail Services) and will be responsible for developing pricing strategies grounded in data, customer, and operational insights. This individual will leverage financial analysis to enhance portfolio profitability through risk based pricing, balancing customer experience and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role will partner across multiple teams, including Product, Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Technology and Operations to drive pricing strategies for USPB Cards businesses.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive pricing strategy recommendations based on in-depth customer insights (both quantitative and qualitative), sound financial impact forecasting and thorough understanding of competitive landscape and regulatory environment
- Evaluate new initiatives by developing financial sizings, weighing risk / reward tradeoffs, assessing customer impact, and various other key factors
- Retrieve data and conduct data driven analytics using various analytical tools, software, and techniques
- Develop robust forecasting and tracking capabilities, and ensure robust quality control in pricing processes that adhere to MCA requirements
- Understand regulatory implications associated with pricing policy and develop mitigation / opportunity strategies
- Communicate clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders
Candidate Qualifications
- 5+ years in product management, pricing, data analytics, risk, or similar function (Financial Services / Credit Card industry preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to derive actionable business insights from data analysis
- Highly proficient in SAS, SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Understands Credit Card products and economics, P&L drivers, and market dynamics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation skills to senior audience members
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple, complex projects at once with minimal guidance
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
