Full job description

At Shore Pines Senior Living, we put people first. We are searching for a qualified candidate to administer medication, help our clients with daily activities, and provide companionship when needed. The caregiver must be patient, empathetic, and dedicated to providing excellent care for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assist in monitoring residents' well-being
• Help with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and ambulation, as specified in residents' individual service plans
• Maintain a safe and comfortable living environment for all residents
• Support and communicate with residents, family members, and other staff members
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• CNA certification or previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting preferred
• Current CNA license, other license or ability to obtain as required by state regulations
• Current CPR/First Aid and Food Handlers certifications – we will assist you with getting these

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Holidays
