Required Skills:
  • Technical Skills: Java, Cucumber, TestNG, Jira, Rest API, Maven, Scrum, Jenkins
  • Domain Skills: Payer
  • At least 5-8 years Automation Testing experience
  • Basic Knowledge on any BPM tool like Pega, IBM BPM, Kamunda.
  • Experience in Pega Testing, Java programming skills
  • Experience in coordinating with multiple cross functional teams testing efforts
  • Experience in building Automation framework
  • Experience in using distributed source control Repository
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Working in Scrum
  • Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Lead the quality assurance efforts for various projects, ensuring adherence to high standards.
  • Oversee the development and execution of test plans and test cases using Cucumber and TestNG.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quality engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to streamline the testing process.
  • Utilize Scrum methodologies to manage and track project progress, ensuring timely delivery of quality products.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Rest API to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Manage and track defects using Jira, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.
  • Utilize Maven for project build and dependency management, ensuring consistency across environments.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
  • Participate in requirement analysis and provide input on testability and quality aspects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in quality assurance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
  • Possess strong technical skills in Cucumber, TestNG, Jenkins, Scrum, Java, Rest API, Jira, and Maven.
  • Have domain expertise in Payer, understanding the specific challenges and requirements.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Show ability to lead and mentor a team of quality engineers.
  • Have experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
  • Be proficient in managing CI/CD pipelines and utilizing project management tools.
  • Display a proactive approach to identifying and addressing quality issues.
  • Work Authorization:

    Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    The annual salary for this position is between $81,500 - $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
