Job Description :

The Talent Management Associate Director enables the success of the Global talent COE by supporting and facilitating key COE-wide meetings, developing agendas aligned with organizational priorities, and translating insights from strategy meetings into actionable items. This role supports the overall Global Talent agenda by monitoring progress, addressing bottlenecks, and supporting accountability on key initiatives. Additionally, the Associate Director supports the SVP of Global Talent in providing vital financial oversight, aligning resources with priorities, and tracking expenditures. Beyond these responsibilities, they actively engage in change management communication and promote the Global Talent organization's work throughout the company. Integral to alignment and knowledge management, the Associate Director captures and shares best practices across the various Global Process teams in the Global Talent COE.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
  • Organize and optimize key meetings, ensuring efficient use of time and resources
  • Develop and manage meeting agendas aligned with organizational priorities
  • Capture insights and outcomes from talent strategy formulation meetings, translating discussions into actionable plans and documenting agreed-upon strategies
  • Assist in project management for strategic talent initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Track progress, identify bottlenecks, and facilitate solutions to keep projects on track
  • Maintain a comprehensive view of progress on strategic initiatives and regularly report on their status and alignment with objectives within Global Talent COE as well as across HR and other relevant groups (i.e. Corporate Strategy).
  • Work closely with team members to establish clear accountability for tasks and deliverables, implementing mechanisms for tracking and ensuring timely completion
  • Drive execution on key initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Provide support to SVP of Global Talent and Global Process Owners in budget management activities, aligning financial resources with strategic priorities, and collaborating with finance teams to track expenditures related to strategic initiatives
  • Facilitate change management communications, effectively conveying key messages, updates, and information related to talent management initiatives within the organization
  • Contribute to knowledge management by capturing and sharing best practices within the Global Talent organization
Other Duties
  • Build a strong network with HR leaders, COEs, and HRIS
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in human resources or organizational effectiveness
Experience
  • 7+ years of related HR experience in a public corporation, ideally in the software industry.
  • Extensive experience in designing, organizing and optimizing key meetings, efficiently utilizing time and resources and facilitating engagement and progress
  • Proven capability in providing project management support for strategic talent initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Strong track record in maintaining a comprehensive view of progress on Global Talent strategic agenda, regularly reporting on project alignment and status.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate the sharing of best practices within the group, serve as an internal expert on connections across initiatives, and establish clear accountability for tasks and deliverables.

  • Strong critical thinking and data analytical skills; able to interpret, evaluate, and analyze facts and information available, establish options and make informed decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex, difficult, and/or sensitive information with a high degree of self-confidence
  • Proficient in change management communication, effectively conveying key messages and updates for talent initiatives.
  • Skillful in adapting strategies for understanding and engagement during change, aligning with objectives and tailoring approaches for diverse audiences
  • Strong political awareness and organizational agility; able to adjust communication style to any audience
  • Proficient in financial analysis for budget management, ensuring alignment of resources with strategic priorities
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Travel Requirements
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of time.

Compensation:

Target salary range CA, CT, CO, HI, NY, WA: $147,200-$208,350
