JOB TITLE: Accounts Payable Specialist LOCATION: Woodbury, NY EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Temp to perm SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE Our client, a very well known and reputable food and beverages company is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. Candidate need to have 3- way matching experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for all aspects of AP
- Three way matching of invoices, purchase orders and receiving documents
- Coding of invoices
- Interact with outside vendors which includes checking status on statements and
- making sure invoices are paid on time.
- Interact with internal resources to get approvals and check status of invoices
- Cutting checks and mailing them out in a timely fashion
- Other duties may be assigned, as needed or required
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience
- Independent problem solving skills
- Proficiency in MS word and excel
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Previous SAP experience and Open text a plus
