Position Summary This position is responsible for a variety of duties related to warehousing including receiving, binning, the material movement of parts, supplies, materials, stock, and equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect all deliveries including parcel and common carrier freight, sign receiving documentation and place stock in appropriate locations.
- Examine shipment contents and verify part numbers, quantities, and PO number matches packing slip from vendor.
- Identify any material received in a damaged condition, document and notify the appropriate teams.
- Use ERP system to pick parts from various racks and locations and prepare them for delivery to production areas.
- Deliver parts and bins to the various Production teams around the manufacturing area.
- May be required to use a hand scanner to issue or transfer material in the warehouse.
- Support First in First Out (FIFO) process in Warehouse area.
- Communicate current and potential stock outs to the appropriate teams for resolution.
- Operate forklift to move, convey, or hoist materials to work and rack locations as needed.
- Clean Warehouse area and maintain area according to department guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred. Experience working with an ERP system is preferred. Familiarity with FIFO asset management preferred.
