Job Title: Powder Coating Painter

We are seeking skilled Powder Coating Painters to join our team at Cimarron. With positions available on both day and night shifts, this is your chance to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise is valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Surface Preparation : Abrade surfaces of metal or hard composition objects to remove scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, and to impart the specified finish.

  • Abrasive Handling : Shovel or pour abrasives such as sand, grit, or shot of specified grade into the machine hopper.

  • Painting : Read work orders or receive instructions from supervisors regarding painting tasks. Select premixed paints or mix required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying substances to prepare paint that matches specified colors.

  • Product Preparation : Prep products before and after painting to ensure quality finishes.

  • Spray Gun Operation : Skillfully use a power spray gun to apply paint.

  • Safety Compliance : Pass a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and be fitted to wear a respirator.

  • Physical Activity : Be physically active and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements:

  • Experience : At least 6 months of previous industrial paint experience.

  • Physical Fitness : Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be physically active.

  • Safety Certification : Must pass a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and be able to wear a respirator
