Looking for a weekend overnight caregiving job near Garnet Valley? We need two Direct Support Staff members to join our team! If you're a compassionate, patient, and caring individual, this could be the perfect fit for you!
We offer flexible hours, primarily on Saturday and Sunday, 10 pm to 6:30 am. Every other weekend, flexible scheduling.
Additional hours may be available on an as-needed basis.
You'll be providing direct support to a very sweet gentleman diagnosed with Down Syndrome in his cozy home. Working alongside a supportive team of caregivers, you'll make a meaningful difference in his life.
Here's what we're looking for:
Staff who don't wear perfume or fragrances.
Not be a smoker
Be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 1 year of direct care experience
Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Has a minimum of a high school diploma or GED
Dependable, mature, and caring individuals
Our ideal candidate:
Brings experience in caregiving and working with individuals with special needs
Possesses a mature, down-to-earth demeanor.
Enjoys collaborating as part of a team.
Has a great sense of humor, a calm demeanor, and isn't overly loud
Is kind, fun, and understanding.
