We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our corporate team in our Columbus, Ohio office as a part-time Accounting Assistant, reporting to the Finance Coordinator and Chief Financial Officer. This person will provide general accounting support and function as a member of our Finance Team for an average of 20 hours each week. The right person will enjoy:

THE PERSON Our desired, well-rounded candidate will assist the Financial Coordinator and Chief Financial Officer with general accounting and data-entry tasks. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with colleagues via Microsoft Teams or other virtual meeting platform. Attention to detail is a must. The additional knowledge, skills, and abilities we are seeking include:
  • Vendor Invoice entry;
  • Per Diem, Mileage, and Expense entry;
  • Entering Field Forms and Expenses for ASC Field Technicians;
  • In-House Expense entries (copies, etc.);
  • Field Form and Vehicle Mileage Log entries;
  • Assisting with DBE Reimbursement entries;
  • Assist with invoices & collections efforts;
  • Being well-versed in standard office software packages (Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, etc.) with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel;
  • Knowledge of the operation of standard office machines (desktop computers, copiers, etc.);
  • Familiarity with Deltek's Ajera project management software a plus;
  • Excellent organization skills, written and oral communication skills, and a strong attention to detail; and
  • The ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is important.
This position will also work closely with the Accounts Receivable lead and our Human Resources consultant. The work environment is indoors and travel is not required for this position. In-office attendance is a requirement; however, remote work for portions of each week is an option after the first 90 days based on job requirements. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. This position is physically located in Columbus, Ohio and no relocation is offered.
