Job Title: Quality Technician IJob Location: Hauppauge, NYJob Duration: 9 MonthsShift Timings:1st Shift - 7:00 AM - 3:30PMJob Description:The Quality Technician is responsible for supporting the business with QA activities to ensure nonconforming products are not produced and shipped to customers.A critical function to provide inspection support as well as process improvements to sustain and improve product quality.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Works with team to provide audits and inspections on product quality according to quality-assurance processes.Assist with conducting nonconforming materials investigation and report to authorized vendors as appropriate.Engages management and team members as required for assistance in addressing new or complex issues.Works with team to support new product quality plan implementations.Ability to understand technical requirements, delivering output following learned technical framework.Support ISO 9001 QMSNote: The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees, and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, abilities, and skills required of personnel so classified.Preferred Education:High School or equivalent Preferred Work Experience (years): 0-3 years Key Skills andCompetencies: Ability to learn technical informationFluent level of English (written and verbal) as well as local language as applicable Beginner level skills in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and Outlook Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-task environment Solid professional work behaviors (attendance, teamwork, time management).Position Specific Information Travel Requirements: N/AFLSA (U.S. only): Non-exempt Physical requirements and working conditions will vary by position and should be described as appropriate.
