Must be capable of efficiently setting-up and operating at highest production standards any machine in the shop and of completing any operations assigned to him. Must be able to skillfully and efficiently use all the various machinist's tools and gauges, read, interpret and follow blueprints and instructions, and perform work to extremely close tolerances. Requires long experience and great ability. Must be willing to be moved frequently from one operation to another in production or other machine work as conditions require. Must have ability to instruct, train and assist other personnel in the Machine Shop and/or maintenance areas and shall frequently be called upon to do so. Shall be capable of setting up and operating at highest production standards any machine in the shop and of completing any machining job assigned to him in production. May not refuse training.
Qualifications - High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Very good physical condition.
- Ability to ascend and descend large equipment.
- Ability to lift, push and pull heavy items.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work with limited supervision to production standards and requirements.
- Availability for shift work and overtime required.
