Thursday - Saturday 5pm - 5am
Loads and unloads furnace racks with steel and hybrid units weighing up to 85 pounds. Loads furnace racks into vacuum braze furnaces using electric lifts and observing critical positioning inside furnace chamber. Ensures that proper program is input in relation to unit type. Monitors brazing process by observing various gauges, including voltmeter, volts, percent of output, temperature, pressure/microns, oil level and cooling water supply. Performs furnace equipment Preventive Maintenance tasks including (but not limited to) oil changes, rack repair, and chamber cleaning. Completes furnace checklists and other records to record usage, loads and maintenance. Position rotates regularly with Core Assembly.
Advises supervisor of irregularities in the work and furnace operation. Responsible for quality and quantity of own work. Keeps work area safe and clean. Performs other duties related to the occupation. Works closely with Engineer and Maintenance personnel.
Required Education & QualificationsMust be at least 18 years old
Must have a High School diploma
