Other customers include foundries, steel mills, steel distribution centers, aerospace and defense contractors, municipalities and general manufacturing companies.Job Description: Virginia Crane is actively seeking a Manual or CNC Machinist. The ideal Manual Machinist must be able to run Manual or CNC lathes, mills, drill presses, boring mills, and etc. from provided blueprints with limited supervision. 1st shift available working 40-56 hours per week in Ashland, VA.Skills: Manual or CNC MachinistRun Manual or CNC Lathe and Manual or CNC Milling MachineRun drill pressRun Boring MillsRead BlueprintsUse calipers and other tools to complete jobsSet up, edit, operate, and run CNC MachineMust have tool knowledgeWork 8 - 10 hours per day +, and Saturdays as required.Shift is 6am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday.Able to work safely in a Heavy Industrial environment.Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
