Operational Risk Monitoring AVP - Global BankOur client, a leading Financial Institution, is seeking an experienced Operational Risk professional to join their Operation Management Department as an AVP. Position Overview: Reporting to the Head of Operational Risk, you will be responsible for the administration and daily operation of Operational Risk Monitoring. This role will take on supervision responsibilities of an Analyst and Associate in the group. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Bank in Operational Risk Management on planning, procedure establishment & update, reporting Daily and/or periodically monitor Operational Risk on Accounting business, Clearing business, Parameter Management, Accounting Archives, Business Continuity and daily routine business operations Conduct business operation examinations on a periodic basis or as needed Perform Operational Risk Monitoring analysis, reporting, and risk mitigation measure suggestion Oversee department data governance related works, including guiding data stewards and business data custodians on data governance tasks, reviewing deliveries, reports, and BAU follow up Other duties and assignments as assigned by department head Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) required 2 to 5 years of Banking experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience Operational Risk Management experience at a Bank Skills and Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to speak effectively before employees of the organization Fluent Chinese in speaking and writing is preferred Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness Maintains confidentiality Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations Makes self-available to staff Improves processes, products and services Continually works to improve supervisory skills What They Offer: Competitive salary, of between $120,000-$150,000, depending on experience Performance-based annual bonus Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and retirement plans Professional development opportunities and support for maintaining certifications This role presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled Operational Risk professional to make a significant impact in a dynamic Banking environment.
