We are seeking a reliable Mail Clerk/Office Assistant to support a law firm in Uniondale. This role involves various office tasks, including mailroom duties and document management. Legal experience is preferred. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Job Title: Mail Clerk

Location: Uniondale, NY

Pay Range: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Copying, printing, scanning, bookmarking, and labeling legal documents.
• Managing office tasks in the mailroom, including handling incoming/outgoing mail.
• Moving boxes and delivering paper and supplies to different floorsConverting and printing electronic documents, particularly in the KOFAX system.
• Assisting with heavy production copy tasks

What's Needed?

• 2+ years of experience as Mail Clerk.
• 1+ year of experience in a law firm or legal environment, performing heavy production copy work.
• Strong understanding of electronic document conversion and printing, especially within the KOFAX platform.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as moving boxes and delivering materials.
• Experience with heavy production copying is a plus.
