This company is at the forefront of bringing semiconductor manufacturing back to the US. Part of accomplishing this plan is bringing the supply chain security in-house. This role is responsible for the physical security and documentation of all products entering and exiting facilities. An example is the chain of custody for all raw and finished products. Another example is when a machine breaks down. The production team calls you first. You secure the area. Then the technician can fix the problem, sawing a wafer dislodged from the machine. You will bag and tag it for security and tracking purposes. This role feeds into cyber, supply/logistics, warehousing, transportation, operations, and other departments within the company. A typical day starts off with receiving your asset handoff from your partner who worked the previous shift. This is documentation review, training you need to complete as well as give, oversight of maintenance programs and calls, and incident investigations. The hiring manager for this role is a former Air Force, and is looking for strong communicators who can mentor and think outside the box. He is building out the team in Malta, NY.They currently need to hire 10 people to fill out the day and night shifts. These are 12-hour shifts, working 630am ? 630pm or 630pm ? 630am. Base salary plus 5% bonus, and a first in class benefits package.
