Claims Adjuster with the ability to communicate compassionately and effectively to resolve low exposure insurance claims. This person will also provide outstanding customer service and have the ability to handle a large volume of claims. Responsibilities
- Analyze, review, and interpret policies to assess coverage and liability
- Handle simple to moderate complexity claims, including single vehicle losses to glass claims
- Establish and maintain proper loss and expense reserves on their claims
- Determine what investigation is necessary on more complicated claims to bring a claim to an equitable conclusion for all parties involved
- Responsible for controlling the work done by the independent adjuster/appraiser
- Document, verify and review damages
- Make timely payments to insureds, claimants and/or shops
Requirements - Recommended for a four-year degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ years' experience handling claims, including understanding and interpreting auto policies
- Knowledge of and adherence to the state laws and regulations governing the handling of auto liability claims
- Basic understanding of insurance, claims, mathematics, construction, auto physical damage
- State adjuster's license where domiciled
- Non-resident adjuster's license where required in the states where we do business
- Exceptional organization skills while moving from task to task in a high pace environment

Expected Compensation $54,000 - $91,800/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
