Our servers play a vital role in every meal - welcoming and guiding, taking orders and serving, and attending to details.ResponsibilitiesFollows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural trainingSupport fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as neededBe knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests' questions verbally and clearlyAccurately write down guests' orders and enter into POS system, in a timely mannerRetrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely mannerAbility to assess guests' demeanor and identify when to summon a ManagerCollect guests' payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely mannerPerform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sideworkRestock and maintain restroom cleanliness for guestsQualificationsCan physically stand/walk 100% of shiftCan reach, bend, stoop frequentlyAble to deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbsAbility to speak, read and write EnglishAbility to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etcComplete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutesComplete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutesBenefitsFive (5) Day Work WeekPaid Vacation: One Week after Year One, Two Weeks after Two Years, and Three Weeks after Ten YearsHealth Insurance - Medical & Dental Programs Available401K Plan - Immediate Eligibility.
