Job summary -To maintain a positive public image for Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek while developing targeted market segments and identified group segments.Essential Duties and Responsibilities - (Key Activities)The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position• Solicit and strategically grow business from Qualified and Wholesale market segments.• Solicit and strategically grow business from travel industry market segments - work closely with RHR Global Sales Directors, Distribution and Reservations teams.• Strategically develop new accounts and build on existing accounts/markets• Effectively maintain, monitor and evaluate monthly account productivity• Conduct frequent travel research and identify areas of opportunity to grow market share - include RHR GSO team• Function as a liaison between clients and hotel associates• Create and execute strategic plans and actions for each identified market segments• Assist in marketing plan strategies and budgets• Achieve budgeted production goals for each identified market segment• Maintain awareness of market conditions and competitive set, and its impact on the hotel. Anticipate business needs with flexible planning.• Respond to client/guest requests in courteous, professional and timely manner• Participate in weekly Revenue/Yield meetings focusing on future business opportunities• Participate identified business and community networking eventsExperience -• Minimum of 3-4 years hotel sales experience - luxury brand preferred with focus on travel industry and wholesale marketsGeneral Skills -• Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy• Prioritize, organize and follow-up on all actions• Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment• Follow directions thoroughly• Understand guest service needs• Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team• Work with minimal supervision• Maintain confidentiality of guest and client information and pertinent hotel data.Technical Skills -• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Exceptional interpersonal skills - able to represent the property in the community• Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments• Affinity for detail• Ability to meet deadlines• Revenue/Yield management skills• Business acumenEducation or Certification -• College degree requiredLanguage -• Required to speak, read and write EnglishPhysical Requirements• Must be able to endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, lift up to20 pounds, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their understanding.Others -• While this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the duties involved in this position, the company reserves the right to add, remove or alter duties when business need dictates.
