We have partnered with a leading manufacturing company in Grand Rapids in their search for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their growing team. This is a full-time opportunity with excellent pay and benefits, working in an extremely clean facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and Operate Production Equipment: Maximize uptime, quality, and speed for both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment, including conveyors, PLCs & robots
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance independently following established procedures.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a maintenance technician in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience working with conveyor belts.
- PLC experience: Troubleshooting is essential, programming experience is a plus.
- Robotics experience: Knowledge of robotic machines.
- Strong mechanical and electrical background.
- Proficient in reading pneumatic and electrical schematics.
- Experience working with 480v systems, including single-phase, three-phase, and occasional work with 630/650v systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a tight-knit team environment.
