Compensation: Estimated $85,000 to $110,000 annual salary based on experience/licensure, plus excellent benefits and performance bonuses

Location: 100% in-person in Goshen, NY

Job Type: Full-time W-2 position with benefits

Work Schedule: Standard in-office schedule with potential for occasional job site travel (up to 20%)

Project Manager/Project Architect Job Summary:

Join our expanding team at LAN Associates as an Architect Project Manager in our Goshen, NY office! You'll be responsible for managing a variety of K-12, commercial, and municipal projects, working hands-on from conceptual design to project close-out. As a mid-sized multi-disciplined architecture and engineering firm, LAN Associates offers the perfect environment for professional growth and leadership development.

Your role will involve working closely with senior leadership and overseeing small teams of architects and designers. This is an opportunity to lead project teams, manage budgets, and ensure deliverables meet the highest standards of design and compliance. Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT is essential for this position, as well as a deep understanding of New York State Education Department code requirements for public schools.

Project Manager/Project Architect Responsibilities:

  • Provide project team direction, schedule tasks, assess budgets, and ensure milestones are met
  • Manage small teams of architects, designers, and draftspeople
  • Contribute to the conceptual development of designs and presentations
  • Assist with referendum planning for various Boards of Education and prepare NYSED project forms
  • Conduct site visits to survey existing conditions and document findings through photos and field memos
  • Prepare project reports, cost estimates, and feasibility studies
  • Develop architectural schematic designs and construction documents in REVIT and AutoCAD
  • Coordinate with design team members, senior management, and external consultants throughout the project lifecycle
  • Attend project-related meetings and industry events
  • Manage the construction administration process from contract award to project close-out

Project Manager/Project Architect Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture
  • Licensed Architect or on path to licensure (Registered Architect preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the AEC industry (Architecture, Engineering, or Construction)
  • Experience in K-12, Higher Education, and Municipal projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or REVIT
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Ability to travel locally to job sites as needed (up to 20%)
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
