Payroll Representative
: Job Details :

The Grand Healthcare System is actively seeking a Payroll Representative in our Corporate Office in Valley Stream, NY.

Duties:

+ Accurately processing and auditing payrolls

+ Effectively managing data from multiple sources to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner

+ Reconciling payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports

+ Calculating proper taxation of employer paid benefits

+ Calculating wages and over-time with multi-state & multi-locations

+ Processing correct garnishment calculations and compliance

+ Contacting facilities to obtain payroll data, including salary adjustments, special payments, tax allocations, and employee deductions or adjustments

+ Responding to client questions regarding various aspects of how their payroll was processed, including questions regarding specific employees' paychecks, or tax related issues

+ Assisting in planning, and implementation of year end processes, to provide accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary (W-2, W-2c, etc.)

+ Human resource support and employee file maintenance

+ Establishing and maintaining a positive working relationship with clients, agencies, and coworkers to promote a positive quality service image

+ Other duties/projects as requested by payroll supervisor

Requirements:
