Candidate will be responsible for the Digital Media Production and oversight for all in-house monitor displays at the NHL Headquarters in NYC. These areas include the corporate offices, meeting rooms, reception areas, the NHL Flagship store and all the digital displays within the studio itself. Management, scheduling, research, footage procurement, production and post-production of various NHL broadcasts, features, graphics and animations will all be part of the daily responsibilities needed.Candidate should have a thorough knowledge of the NHL, its history, current teams, players and coaches with a major emphasis on post-production, graphic creation and animation experience needed.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Research, footage procurement, file management, editing, exporting media in various formats and the ability to learn the tracking software needed for the smooth implementation of all media presented.
  • Post-production knowledge a must with a focus on Adobe Premiere, After Effects & Photoshop.
  • A self-starter who can work on their own but can also take direction from others and implement those suggestions in a cordial and professional manner.
  • Ability to communicate with senior staff and clients are needed for optimal production workflow.
  • Must be very flexible with working hours, as day and night hours, weekdays and weekends are required as well as being on call for last minute production needs. Your workday can extend as production demands change, so schedule flexibility is a key component to the position.
QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge Areas/ExperienceRequired
  • Extensive knowledge of the NHL's current players, coaches and teams, as well as its history
  • At least 2 to 3 years experience in production and post-production related roles
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite an absolute must, with an emphasis on Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
  • Experience with various broadcast equipment preferred and the ability to learn new production skills and adapt to an ever-changing production department
Preferred
  • Foreign language abilities are a plus
Education/Certifications
  • BA or equivalent

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • A self-starter who can work on their own with an excellent attention to detail, problem-solving and superior organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
