We are looking for tower climbers in the Telecommunications field in Syracuse, New York. This is a full time, direct hire, permanent position with benefits.*Must possess a valid drivers' license, pass a background check, as well as a 5-panel drug screen.Location: Syracuse, New YorkPay: BASED ON EXPERIENCE $25-35/hr.Tower Climber DutiesAssemble, erect, maintain and repair antenna towers and accessoriesInstall equipment and accessories on towers such as antennas, amplifiers, and transmission linesInspect towers for damage and deteriorationConduct visual inspections and use test equipment to identify and locate tower defectsClimb towers and ladders to reach work areaPlan and coordinate work activitiesAdhere to safety regulationsOperate specialized equipment and vehiclesTower Climber RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to work at heightsAbility to climb ladders and towersAbility to work in extreme weather conditionsTower Climber SkillsExcellent physical strength and enduranceKnowledge of rigging and hoisting equipmentGood sense of balanceAbility to work in extreme weather conditionsAbility to understand and follow safety regulationsApply today if you are up for the challenge!
