QUICK DETAILS: Belmont Village Senior Living is growing! As the Area Director of Resident Care Services you will lead the clinical care of our residents in multiple Belmont Village communities in an assigned area. In this multi-site leadership role, you will mentor and support Directors of Resident Care Services (DRCS), ensure compliance with company policies, and drive quality improvements. You will oversee clinical operations, assist with state surveys, and act as an interim DRCS when needed. This role requires extensive travel and offers the chance to shape care standards of care across multiple sites. Qualified candidates must hold an active nursing license in the state of California. THE BELMONT VILLAGE DIFFERENCE: The Area Director of Resident Care Services is the clinical leader for multiple communities in an assigned area. This position acts as the Interim Director of Resident Care Services (DRCS) during vacancies in the assigned area. This position provides oversight, mentoring and support for the DRCS' in the assigned area. This position will assist with ensuring compliance with company policies and local and state licensure and will facilitate Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement program growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Implement policies and procedures for clinical services while providing education, compliance oversight and monitoring support Mentor community DRCS and provide compliance oversight with quality improvement processes and established clinical standards Monitor quality improvement and clinical system oversight with clinical software platforms such as but not limited to SafelyYou, Accuflo, and our proprietary assessment system Participate in state surveys, compliance investigations and assist in developing action plans for resolution of identified areas of clinical practice improvement as identified by site visits, surveys or other audits Act as interim DRCS during vacancies Collaborate with leadership to enhance resident care and manage risks related to resident move-in and move-out processes Coordinate and monitor orientation and on-going training for DRCS and licensed nursing staff in assigned territory Participate in the interview and selection process for new DRCS within assigned area Work collaboratively with other Regional Team members SUPERVISES This position supervises all Directors of Resident Care Services at Belmont Village communities in an assigned area.
