Position Summary: This position is responsible for sewing large scale fabric using an industrial sewing machine. Essential Job Functions (listing most important first): • Fabricating/sewing large scale graphics • Start and operate industrial sewing machines • Draw thread through guides, tensions and needles • Adjust machine functions according to fabric type and project needs. • Observe machine operation to detect defects in stitching or machine malfunction, and notify supervisor of issues. • Strictly follow all safety guidelines to insure the safety of own self and other co-workers. Required/Preferred Education and Experience: • 2+ years industrial sewing experience required. Preferred Skills/Training: • Upholstery, sail making, and other large scale sewing experience • Strong attention to detail
