- Create and execute unique dining concepts aligned with the resort's luxury positioning.
- Lead both the culinary team and operations, ensuring seamless service and high-quality food preparation.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide a cohesive guest dining experience.
- Manage costs, control inventory, and minimize waste while maintaining high service standards.
- Oversee the professional development of chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring a motivated and skilled team.
- Drive innovation by staying informed of culinary trends and implementing new techniques.
- Engage with media and influencers to promote the culinary story and resort's offerings.
- Handle guest complaints and food-related issues promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Report on financial performance and recommend improvements for profitability.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury resort or high-end restaurant group generating at least $50mm in F&B revenues (must have multi-unit/outlet experience of at least 6 outlets/units)
- Strong leadership in both culinary and operational management.
- Experience managing large culinary teams of up to 100+ full-time BOH employees.
- Strong grasp of DOH standards and ability to manage complex F&B operations.
- Experience in union environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
