Leaders Furniture has a great opportunity on repair team! We are seeking an individual that is mechanically inclined and takes pride in the quality of their work. In this role you will repair various furniture that may arrive from the manufacture with defects or items that are provided by our retail locations. Ideally, you will have a background in woodworking, mechanically inclined to solve problems and highly detail oriented. Working with various materials such as wood, plastics, metals, composites, and glass. Successful team members can cross-train and learn new skills in other departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect and repair furniture
- Identify solution and prepare for execution of repair
- Able to safely work with various hand, pneumatic, and power tools
- Be an advocate for safety, and for a clean and organized workspace
- Help with special projects
- Help other departments when needed
- Read and understand documents in English, including but not limited to, Safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Use computer system to accurately move and record product
- Be able to manage your time efficiently to consistently meet deadlines
- Have a willingness to cross train for other departments
- Perform other duties as assigned by Distribution Management
Schedule:Full time (40 hours per week)8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - FridayEducationHigh School DiplomaMust be able to read and communicate in English.
