We are looking for a dedicated and attentive Floor Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of various types of flooring at our facility. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate cleaning equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and buffing.
- Operate floor cleaning machines, such as buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums, safely and efficiently.
- Apply appropriate cleaning solutions and chemicals according to safety standards and manufacturer instructions.
- Conduct routine inspections of flooring to identify areas needing repair or maintenance.
- Address spills and stains promptly to prevent damage and maintain safety.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in floor maintenance is REQUIRED
- Familiarity with different types of flooring and appropriate cleaning techniques.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and chemical handling.
- MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION - NOT ON A BUS ROUTE
