The Power System Technician is responsible for the maintenance, operation, selection, installation, and upgrade of all Power distribution systems.This system includes but not limited to SVC+, Reactors, EAF/LF transformers, breakers, relays and switchgears, Arc Regulation, 13.8KV switch gear and all associated downstream transformers and switchgears at this facility. The Power System Technician will provide technical expertise to the maintenance and production teams through project leadership, predictive and preventative practices, and hands on capabilities.The candidate will have an active role within the Power Engineer group to ensure best practices and reliability of all plant wide electrical systems. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within this company; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety practices, policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.This is a Monday-Friday day shift role that is on call for emergencies and outages. At times may need to work an off shift if there is a need, but this is primarily a day shift role..
