Our tech fuels billions of transactions per day!The team:The Director, Product Management will lead the prioritization, design, and execution of our DV+ product and features at Magnite, Inc. DV+ is our sell-side platform (SSP) for enabling digital publishers to monetize their online advertising inventory, specifically display, video, native, mobile, audio, DOOH, etc. You will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, Sales, Operations, and Marketing to bring leading-edge products to market. In this role, you will lead various teams through ideation, prioritization, execution, go-to-market, and adoption.In this role, you will:
  • Work with customers and colleagues across Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, Project Management, Sales, Operations, and Marketing to assess the technical feasibility of features, prioritize among different options, manage product roadmaps, develop product specifications, and drive GTM strategies.
  • Conceptualize the strategy for your product area.
  • Improve and lead the feature request and prioritization process.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and other product managers on features and functionalities to be included in each release and build and grow teams that can effectively do the same.
  • Surface technical and scope trade-offs required to allow the organization to make informed decisions.
  • Define, develop, and execute the roadmap and performance metrics for the DV+ platform.
  • Work with Engineering to plan sprints and longer-term roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with product teams and engineers to bring solutions to market on time and within budget.
  • Ensure effective GTM planning with Commercial and Operations teams, including producing necessary supporting documentation and training.
  • Represent Magnite externally with customers and partners and at industry events and conferences.
  • Build and grow teams that operate through detailed analysis to make informed, data-driven suggestions and decisions.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members and guide them in their growth and development.We're looking for someone with:
  • 8+ years of experience in software product management working in complex cross-functional environments on large-scale, enterprise platforms.
  • Experience in digital media and ad tech, including the online video, CTV, display, and mobile advertising spaces, both from a sell-side and buy-side perspective, and industry standards, is a strong plus.
  • Strong domain expertise in one or more areas of ad tech, such as SSP, DSP, DMP, etc.
  • 5+ years experience leading and managing teams.
  • Proven experience driving all elements of the product development lifecycle. Comfortable with roadmap development and writing detailed product requirements documents that explain both the technical and business problems to be solved.
  • An ability to understand and operate in the technical details.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a high degree of comfort in interacting with data (business intelligence, SQL, and advanced spreadsheet skills).
  • Past demonstrated success managing complex products and integrations in medium to large organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Relevant degree(s) and/or related work experience. Technical background is a requirement.Total Rewards Include:
