We are looking for a dynamic professional to partner with cross-regional and cross-functional stakeholders to help us achieve our ambitious goals. The Global Potato Storage & Ag Operations Lead will be instrumental in supporting the execution of McCain's Potato Storage & Ag Operations strategies, focusing on safety, operational excellence, digital transformation, innovation, and capability building. This role will involve close collaboration with Regional Ag teams and Global Ag Data/Digital stakeholders to capture and report timely and accurate data related to McCain Ag Operations and Potato Storage activities. The successful candidate will own data tracking and reporting for the McCain Storage Loss Reduction initiative and partner with Global Ag Data/Digital teams to develop, build, enhance, and maintain tools, templates, and dashboards for data analysis and reporting, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders and senior leaders. In addition, the Global Potato Storage & Ag Operations Lead will prepare and present executive-ready presentation materials to explain technical concepts and insights to key regional stakeholders and Agriculture Leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management and Reporting:

* Own data tracking and reporting for the McCain Storage Loss Reduction initiative.

* Partner with Global Ag Data/Digital teams to develop, build, enhance, and maintain tools, templates, and dashboards.

* Deliver actionable insights to stakeholders and senior leaders.

Presentation and Communication:

* Prepare and present executive-ready presentation materials.

* Explain technical concepts and insights to key regional stakeholders and Agriculture Leaders.

Digital Integration Strategy:

* Support execution of the digital integration strategy for potato storage and Ag operations infrastructure and activities.

* Leverage data analytics to optimize outcomes, efficiency, and costing.

CAPEX Project Management:

* Collaborate with the Sr. Director to support regional teams in managing and executing potato storage and Ag operations CAPEX projects.

* Ensure adherence to best practices and optimized ways of working.

Capability Building:

* Support execution of the potato storage and Ag operations capability-building strategy.

* Enable development and delivery of training in collaboration with the Sr. Director.

Research and Integration:

* Manage Global Ag storage research work and integrate regional learnings into comprehensive post-harvest profiles for new varieties.

* Benchmark storage capability between growing regions.

Industry Research and Networking:

* Conduct research trials on significant potato storage and Ag operations issues.

* Network with industry experts and stay updated on the latest technologies.

Qualifications:

Education:

* Bachelor's degree in agriculture, agronomy, or engineering (required)

* Strong knowledge of potato storage (preferred)

Experience:

* 5+ years of relevant experience in ag operations, post-harvest preservation, or agronomy (required)

* Commercial ag operations or potato storage experience (preferred)
