Bar BackThe main responsibility of a Bar back is to aid the bartender with all bar maintenance tasks, including clean up and restocking of glassware and supplies.Responsibilities* Ensure that all proper sanitation practices are enforced when taking care of the bar* Dispose of trash and bottles according to restaurant procedure* Bring filled bus bins from behind the bar to the dishwashing area* Prepare all fruit/garnish for all cocktails on menu* Restock all inventory: beer, liquor, wine, juices, glassware, etc.* Deliver cocktails to guest in a timely fashion (if needed)Skills* Strong verbal communication skills* Avid multitasker to adapt to a fast paced, high volume restaurant settingWorking Conditions* Be able to stand, twist, kneel and move around for the entirety of a scheduled shift* Be able to lift up to 30lbs* Be comfortable frequently using hands and wristsEducation/Experience* High school graduate or equivalent (preferred)* Prior restaurant experience is a plus but not required
