Unitek Global Services is looking for a reliable and competent Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations at our corporate location in Jackson, MS. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of officesupport tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
Responsibilities:
Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures
Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
Schedule and plan meetings and appointments, including preparing the meeting room and ordering/coordinating delivery of meals at the appointed time
Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
Maintain trusting relationships with customers and colleagues
Perform receptionist duties including answering phones, directing calls and greeting guests
Weekly time entry for employees
Ordering and coordinating delivery of breakfast/lunch for the office when requested
Monitor and stock the kitchen
Processing invoices for payment
Manage setting up and disconnecting utilities for remote job sites
Data entry and filing as necessary
Other duties as assigned by management
