Responsibilities:The Emergency Department Registered Nurse uses the nursing process to identify patient needs and priorities of care through assessment, planning and delegation of care based on patient needs, therapeutic interventions, and evaluation of the patients response. The nurse is expected to incorporate and demonstrate the message of St. Gabriels stated mission, including its Christian ethics, philosophy and values.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
Required
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
RN in Minnesota
BLS
ACLS within 12 months of hire
TNCC within 24 months of hire
ENPC within 24 months of hire
ATCN may be substituted for TNCC
PALS may be substituted for ENPC
Preferred
Two years emergency nursing experience
Knowledge of nursing principles, policies, procedures and hospital ethics
