Job Title: Quality Control InspectorLocation: Charlestown, IndianaPayrate: $17 Monday- Friday
Responsibilities:- Conduct product inspections to ensure adherence to customer specifications.
- Report discrepancies and quarantine as necessary.
- Evaluate and inspect transactions which involve count discrepancies.
- Assist in sample creation and transfer to the test lab for product testing (if applicable).
- Suggest modifications to established procedures to improve production efficiency, improve quality, or reduce costs.
- Maintain safe, clean, and orderly work areas.
- Assist with 100% screening projects.
- Collaborate with management on other duties as deemed necessary by the management staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:- Clerical: Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
- Demonstrated skills in database management and record-keeping.
- Strong computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including Word and Excel.
- Excellent basic functionality in Excel and Word.
- Customer and Personal Service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction..
- Ability to operate a forklift is preferred but not required.
