Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Director, Human Capital Management (HCM) is responsible for the day to day management of the HCM team. This role oversees the optimization, maintenance and data integrity of Workday, our HCM software. The Director, HCM ensures Workday successfully supports all HR processes, including talent management, employee relations, payroll, benefits, change management, HR Compliance as well as overall HRIS and analytics. This role requires 4 days in office with Tuesday and Wednesday as core in office days. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee day to day operations of Human Resources with strong focus on Workday as the enabling technology. Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of overall business operations objectives and goals. Partner with Vice-President Total Rewards to promote employee-centered initiatives which foster an equitable and inclusive environment. Serve as an HCM software subject matter expert supporting all Human Resource functions and acting as a strategic business advisor for Senior leadership and Strategy Team members. Leverage Workday to oversee and execute various HR processes, including merit and STIP processes in partnership with Compensation and other areas. Lead and develop the Human Capital Management team. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in HR, IT or related field Other Requirements: Workday Pro certified Minimum years of experience: 5 to 8 years REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge Knowledge of employment laws and regulations Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft and Google suite Knowledge of HRIS systems Skills & Abilities Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Process-oriented with sharp analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail. Strong sense of urgency; ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Warm and open demeanor; ability to build relationships with all levels of staff. Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively to proactively solve problems. Ability to think strategically and critically, and to develop new ideas. FORMAL POLICY SETTING Set policies for department or division. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT AND WORK ENVIRONMENT Walking Primarily sitting Standing Primarily sitting Lifting Up to 25 lbs Travel 0-25% Work Environment Standard office environment with the ability to work remotely 1 day/week.
