**Pay:** $55k-$65k (depending on experience)
**Schedule:** 1 st shift M-F
**Type of Job:** Direct Hire

**Microarray Technician daily tasks** :
+ Perform DNA extraction from multiple sources
+ Perform DNA quantitation and other QC assays
+ Process extracted DNA samples on microarray platform
+ Perform data analysis, QC of results, and results delivery
+ Participate in the development, validation, and implementation of new analytical techniques
+ Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
+ Monitor and maintain laboratory supplies and reagents inventory
+ Maintain accurate records according to laboratory operating procedures
+ Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
**Microarray Technician Requirements:**
+ B.S. in Molecular Biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related.
+ 2+ years of forensic/array experience is preferred
