Position Overview:

HireQuest Direct is seeking a motivated and adaptable Manager in Training (MIT) to join our team in Charleston, SC. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow within our organization, with the MIT floating between our downtown Charleston office and the North Charleston office. The MIT will work closely with experienced managers to gain hands-on experience in branch operations, sales, and customer service, preparing them for a future leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training & Development: Participate in an extensive training program, learning all aspects of branch operations, including staffing, client relations, sales, and financial management.
  • Branch Operations: Assist with daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Sales Support: Support the sales team by developing client relationships, preparing proposals, and participating in business development activities.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to clients and job seekers, addressing their needs and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside branch managers and staff, contributing to team goals and branch success.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure training objectives are being met.
  • Floating Role: Adapt to the needs of both the downtown and North Charleston offices, providing support where needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in staffing, sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments.
  • Personal Attributes: Ambitious, detail-oriented, and eager to take on new challenges.
  • Availability: Must be available to work Monday-Friday and every other Saturday.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Starting salary between $40,000 - $45,000, with opportunities for advancement
