Summary of PositionWe're seeking a highly skilled, creative, and versatile Social Content Producer/Editor to conceptualize and create bespoke social content in various formats, including videos, images, infographics, text captions, etc. You will be responsible for strategizing, producing, and executing dynamic and engaging social content for Lionsgate's flagship FAST channels which air movies and series. We are looking for someone who has experience in bringing ideas to life, from concept to delivery. A keen sense for what makes content shareable, strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment is key to success. The role will report to the VP, WWTV Marketing. Responsibilities
  • Produce innovative, best-in-class social content across a diverse range of formats (static, video, stories, GIFS, reels, etc.) that resonates with fans, fosters engagement, and authentically reflects the brand and talent's tone, voice, and messaging from ideation to execution
  • Review shoot footage, episodes and movies to create content for social that drives discovery and promotes tune-in
  • Collaborate and strategize with cross-functional teams to bring creative concepts to life
  • Craft authentic, platform-native concepts that align with the brand voice and audience interests
  • Remain at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, content formats, and platform evolution, applying expertise and insight to continuously elevate the brand's social content strategies.
  • Use design software and tools to create high-quality graphics and visuals
  • Understand best practices to optimize content for each platform and produce deliverables in multiple aspect ratios for Instagram, Tik Tok, X/Twitter, Facebook, etc.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in video editing, graphic design and creative strategy in the social space
  • Proven track record of success in developing, producing, and editing social content
  • A deep understanding of social algorithms, specs, and strategies
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects)
  • Proficiency in editing vertical video on Capcut and other relevant tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience identifying shareable/viral content and understanding pop culture trends
  • Love of movies is a plus
