Location:Mill Street Office BuildingShift:Days (United States of America)Scheduled Weekly Hours:40Worker Type:RegularExemption Status:NoJob Summary:This position is responsible for the timely and accurate entry of all charitable gifts into Geisinger Health Foundation's donor database of record. The position is also responsible for the receipting and acknowledgement of all charitable gifts and plays a critical role in a variety of database maintenance work.Job Duties:
  • Oversees the daily processing of all charitable gifts into the Foundation's donor database of record including any gift adjustments, refunds or write-offs.
  • Manages complex charitable gift transactions to include, but not limited to, in-kind gifts, planned gifts, gifts of securities, and payroll deductions.
  • Produces gift related correspondence, including gift receipts and tribute cards, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Creates and maintains gift-specific coding in the donor database of record used to produce progress reports.
  • Responsible for the accurate entry and regular updating of biographical data in the donor database of record.
  • Performs critical gift reconciliation tasks on a monthly or as-needed basis.
  • Works collaboratively with Financial Reporting to manage month-end reconciliation in addition to monitoring Geisinger Health Foundation's bank account to ensure bank transaction are accounted for.
  • Maintains HIPAA coding within The Raiser's Edge and Epic systems to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Collaboratively updates all gift entry policies and procedures for Geisinger Health Foundation.
