Location Address:910 7th Avenue, Berwick, Pennsylvania 18603Work Shift:8hr-1st Shift (United States of America)As a fully competent Industrial Maintenance Technician, incumbent will perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment and facility. They are also responsible for following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.Industrial Maintenance Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agenciesInstall, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and other related equipmentPerform mold, neck tooling changes, pin and other equipment changesInspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hosesInspect, rebuild and replace valves and pumpsPerform preventive maintenance on all related equipmentMaintain machines in optimal processing conditionWeld, fabricate, and repair various machinesTroubleshoot, locate root problems and repair blow mold, baggers & support equipmentMay operate blow mold or injection machinesCommunicate with other departments on a frequent basisDuties may differentiate by plant based on equipment and plant designReceives instructions on specific job task by Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician or SupervisorAssistance is furnished on unusual problems and work is reviewed for application of sound professional judgmentOther duties as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are minimum requirements for the job. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes.
