The incumbent serves as the primary financial administrative advisor to the division. The incumbent independently executes the following functions: budget, accounting, reporting, procurement, and the analysis and interpretation of the financial significance of past, present, and future events, and plans. The incumbent also applies these functions to the division's appropriated and reimbursable fund accounts. The incumbent coordinates and correlates these functions into an effective system of financial controls across the division and in accordance with Library policies and guidance. The incumbent provides direct day-to-day support to members of the staff on the division's budgets, solving problems and answering questions about the Library's Financial Management and Reporting systems, and serves as a liaison with the Office of the Librarian and Centers Administration (OLCA), the Financial Services Directorate (FSD), and the Contracts Offices to resolve issues.
