Job Summary

Responsible for effectively directing and monitoring the development of territories and driving the sales of Comcast Business strategic products and managed solutions in new markets. Effectively hire, develop, and coach a sales team to consistently achieve results in the acquisition of new mid-market and enterprise customers. Provides leadership and direction for multiple functional areas. Manages professionals at manager, supervisor and professional levels. Ensures appropriate resources to achieve financial and business objectives. Influences, shapes, and integrates strategy for functional area(s).

Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities
  • Develops a sales team that is highly skilled in consultative and solution-based selling. Leads by example and values strong leadership and coaching.
  • Hires, reviews, coaches, and develops enterprise sales team. Evaluates team effectiveness and implements necessary changes. Addresses personnel issues/performance issues in accordance with Company policy.
  • Assists and advises in strategy and development of sales territories.
  • Establishes and cultivates effective business relationships, cross-functionally with subject matter experts, and internally across Division and Corporate Business Services teams to ensure maximum effectiveness of the sales organization.
  • Manages and monitors Enterprise Direct Sales team within budgeted sales and expense targets.
  • Possesses an excellent knowledge of Company's products/services, pricing practices and selling skills to effectively oversee regional sales deployment of new products and services that target the enterprise segment.
  • Monitors and prepares sales results and other activity reports and forecasts monthly, quarterly, and annually through experience with processing and analyzing of data.
  • Develops, plans, and coordinates sales strategies to support the achievement of team and overall business objectives.
  • Exhibits excellent written and oral communications skills, including relationship building, interpersonal communication, and presentations to executive audiences.
  • Identifies and implements improvements in business processes, yielding increased sales performance and/or operational efficiency.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
