ATI is seeking to hire a Supply Chain Specialist (Domestic/Export Shipping) to support our Specialty Rolled Products business unit. This role will be based in Natrona Heights, PA on a hybrid basis.

This position has direct responsibility for managing, overseeing and executing to assure compliance of all logistic operation requirements and functions including TMS document distribution, booking management, monthly invoice reconciliation, and maintain documents and processes. The candidate will also work with export compliance, account representatives, and production teams.

This position will focus on continuous improvement efforts and means of streamlining the current process (including the implementation of a new TMS system) to improve process flow, and overall cost competitiveness.

Applicants should be aware that this role will require occasional weekend and holiday coverage for Month-end and Quarter-end close outs.

Essential Functions

  • Manage the domestic shipment process.
  • Work closely with carriers and/or freight forwarders and resolve all shipment related issues.
  • Monitor carrier activity and performance, review and resolve transit claims.
  • Work closely with sales and production to respond to expedited requests and support all plant moves related to LTL or over dimensional shipments.
  • Ability to develop and improve initiatives between operating departments, outside processors, and customers

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Export/Import Shipment knowledge and Export Compliance experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience in metals industry
  • Previous freight movement/logistics experience
  • Familiarity with TMS systems
