About The Role As Head of Growth, you will take over full ownership of our Growth function. You will set the vision for our brand strategy, oversee pricing and promotions, growth analytics, and demand forecasting, and manage performance across the full range of marketing channels, including Paid Search, Meta, OTAs and Partnerships, CRM, Referral, Organic Social and Influencer, etc. You will lead a small, agile team, manage external agencies and partners, and work closely with Engineering and Finance functions. The Head of Growth must be located in New York City (though you can still work remotely within NYC) and have a strong understanding of local culture and market dynamics. What You'll Do
    • Develop and execute growth strategies to drive sales, brand awareness, and retention in our core markets - New York and San Francisco
    • Work closely with Finance to develop revenue forecasts and manage top line performance and marketing spend effectiveness
    • Work with our Analytics lead and external partners to ensure that marketing data flows into all necessary systems are accurate and timely enough to support performance optimization
    • Work with our Analytics lead to optimize pricing and promotions in each market
    • Determine appropriate KPIs and targets for each market and continuously optimize spend allocation across markets, channels and campaigns
    • Manage and grow OTA partnerships (e.g., Priceline, Kayak, Expedia) to generate cost-efficient revenue
    • Develop brand, affiliate, and influencer partnerships in New York and San Francisco regions to drive brand awareness and revenue growth
    • Oversee CRM and SEM agencies to drive cost-effective customer acquisition and retention
    • Identify and test new, promising channel opportunities (e.g., Meta, podcast, OOH) as well as vendors and creative sources
    • Identify opportunities for Conversion Rate Optimization and work with Engineering to implement
    • Identify opportunities for automation to drive efficiency and performance and work with Analytics or Engineering to implement
Required
    • Minimum 5+ years of Growth experience, within high-performing agencies or brands
    • Experience driving local (market-specific) growth through paid and organic channels
    • 3+ years experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and app advertising; experience scaling accounts from zero to 6-7 figures monthly while maintaining efficiency
    • Experience building brand and affiliate partnerships, ideally locally within the NY region
    • Experience planning, testing and executing promotions
    • Strong understanding of performance marketing concepts and metrics (e.g., lift testing, incrementality, attribution, retention, ROAS, LTV/CAC)
    • Experience with marketing attribution; understanding of the basic mechanisms of click-based attribution and in-platform attribution
    • Experience with conversion tracking implementation; ability to audit and improve Google Ads, CAPI, and other tracking implementation
    • Experience with demand and spend forecasting
    • Experience working closely with Analytics, Engineering, Creative
    • Strong copywriting skills and attention to detail
    • Strong Excel modeling and analytics skills
    • Experience using BI platforms
Preferred
    • Experience with pricing algorithms within the travel industry environment
    • Experience with Segment event setup and management
    • Experience with Mode BI platform
    • Familiarity with Braze CRM
