The primary function is to provide leadership, general supervision and direction to off-shift supervisors and hourly production employees. This position will be responsible for the day shift supervision of the sawmill to include; safety meetings, payroll, team leadership, process improvement, data collection, and product quality standards. The selected candidate will need to have the ability to work other shifts as needed.QualificationsBasic Qualifications: This position requires a minimum of 5 years supervisory/management work experience in the manufacturing industry. A 4-year college degree in a related field is preferred. This position requires analytical and problem-solving skills and a good working knowledge of computers. Must have the ability to generate and understand production models.
