Description of the role:
Senior Helpers - Lee's Summit is seeking a Personal Caregiver to provide compassionate and personalized care for one of our Armed Services Vetaran clients in Independence, Missouri. As a Personal Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in assisting with various daily living activities and ensuring the overall well-being of our client.
Responsibilities:
- Assist client with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management.
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
- Engage clients in meaningful social and recreational activities.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, and outings.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental condition.
- Experience with Durable Medical Equipment including a sit-to-stand
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a caregiver or in a similar role.
- Compassionate and patient nature.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with elderly individuals.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check
